Tying Up Loose Ends

Just a lot of little projects to do now while I wait for parts from the two machine shops

Finishing out the week I got the landing gear “up and locked” position switches mounted and wired. I also tidied up some of the wiring runs by cable tying them in place. And lastly I torqued the leading edge bolts on the wings after replacing the nylon lock nuts with metal ones. Now I’m waiting on the new engine coupling to have it’s modifications done. It looks like the earliest that may be ready is the end of next week. Likewise I’m waiting on the new prop shaft and oil shuttle for the reduction drive and that will likely only be ready once I’m up at Oshkosh. So it’s likely not going to be until after Oshkosh that I can run the engine again.
