Milling and Drilling

This week we have been flat out with many different things. Jeff has continued to close in on finishing the model while I have been working on learning all the aspects of the CNC. We now have it calibrated and we can run tool paths that I am generating from the surfaces in the 3D model.

Wings and canard bolted into place.

There is every chance that the scale model will be flying next week. We will have video of that event for sure.

We have almost completed anchoring the CNC to the floor. Once that’s done we will be ready to mill the foam for the first plugs.

20 blocks of foam delivered. This should possibly be all we need for all the molds.

Part way through transferring them into our shipping container.
