Just a Trim Thanks

The window trimming fixture off the mill and ready for glassing

This week we finished off by getting the window trimming fixture into glass. It will get a coat of putty next week so it can go back on the mill.

We also completed the roof mold bracing as well as finished the waxing on the main spar plug so it’s ready to have it’s mold pulled.

We received an additional 9 deposits this week bringing the total to 463. We are well ahead of our goal of having 500 by the time AirVenture comes around at the end of July.

Next week we have a lot on our plate so we’ll be completing some of the following: Laying up the nose, laying up the rear pressure bulkhead, creating the main spar mold, creating the lower air intake mold, spraying with putty and milling the window trimming fixture.
