Andrey, Obviously I am aware of all the naysaying out there. Just give us some time to prove all of them wrong. I don’t feel like I have to answer to any of them. Keep in mind that every day we are working hard to make the Raptor a reality whereas they are just sitting at their computers doing nothing but spew negativity.

Time is all we need. The video updates show our progress. Why should we have to answer to them?

Anyway, why can’t we try using an auto engine initially? Is there a law that says we can’t? Nothing new was ever invented by just doing what was already done.

We are going to experiment with flaps to reduce landing speeds. I have already mentioned that many times.

Aside from that we are not really doing anything that much different from the successful Velocity XL design.

Yes, we are still working on some slow speed stability issues with the model which may result it further changes to the foreplane, wing or winglets, all of which we will not be starting on with the prototype until the model is flying well. That doesn’t mean we can’t keep working on the fuselage for the prototype. There is a lot to do on it and dropping everything to work on the model is not necessary. Most new designs require tweaking initially. Even Burt Rutan is having to tweak his Skigull.

Anyway, I appreciate you respecting the way we are operating. Don’t waste your time arguing with the naysayers. All of their comments will be there in black and white and when the Raptor is flying you can point out how many times they spoke and how wrong they were.

Cheers,

Peter
