A Roof over our Heads

Finally yesterday, about 10 days after we began our search, we signed a lease on the new home for Raptor. It’s a 5000 square foot space with about 600 square feet of office. Out back, it has one dock door and one drive in door. It’s just a minute away from Cherokee County airport which will really come in handy when it’s time to move the prototype to the airport.

On Monday we are off for a quick trip to Colorado to take delivery of our new CNC mill. It’s coming back on a flatbed, we’re coming back commercial.

Today we also received pics of the Audi 3.0L TDI that we just purchased. It’s being shipped to a performance shop in Atlanta that will begin the work required to prep it for use in the prototype. It’s never too early to get a jump on this aspect of the project.

It’s not too pretty right now but that’s our engine. 2014 model with 8000 miles on it.
